Swedish .SE domain ownership transfer

The ownership transfer of a Swedish .SE domain includes a few additional steps compared to the standard domain registration process.

1. Ownership transfer in the My Zone

Changing the owner does not require a separate order. To transfer the ownership of a .SE domain:

1. Log in to your My Zone account

2. Find the desired .SE domain

3. Edit the domain owner details and enter the information of the new owner

After saving the changes, a confirmation email will be sent to the registrant’s email address. The ownership transfer must be confirmed through the link provided in that email.

2. Confirmation email

The confirmation email contains a link that must be used to confirm the domain ownership transfer within 7 days.

• If the confirmation is not completed within this time, the ownership change will automatically be cancelled.

• Please also check your Spam/Junk folder, as the email may occasionally end up there.

3. Requesting the ownership transfer form

After confirming the change through the email link, a .SE domain ownership transfer form must be completed.

To receive the form, please send an email to support@zone.eu. We will prepare and send you a pre-filled ownership transfer form with the correct details.

This helps avoid mistakes, as the form must contain specific information required by the registry.

4. Signing and sending the form

Once you receive the form from us:

1. Print the form

2. Have it signed by the current domain owner (the transferor)

3. Scan the document or take a photo of it

4. Send the signed document (scan or photo) to support@zone.eu

After we receive and verify the document, the domain ownership transfer will be completed automatically.
